this  helmet belongs to the character Dutch from Halo ODST, its a 18 page build with some pretty fine detail, an advanced build requiring a fair amount of time to complete. Less complicated models have come out but I started this one before then.

Papercraft is a great way to build your own set of armor, almost anything you can think of, just as long as it fits on a 8.5 by 11 piece of paper.

The paper is the base upon you apply your different hardening materials, be it fiberglass resin, automotive bondo, or even clay. Most people prefer using the resin method as the paper readily soaks it up and becomes rigid, they then used fiberglass matte to strengthen the inside and use bondo or finishing puddy to smooth the outside. once all of this is applied your papercraft resembles your average car fender, very strong and durable but some people like to get fancy and make a mold of it and cast it in plastic or fiberglass.
